SDA were appointed by Bridge Holdings to prepare a performance specification and oversee the works on site. The building was developed and proven to meet BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standard.
The installation of mechanical and electrical services within a new office development unit at Saxon Way, for use as a multiple occupation office development.
The building comprises of individual office suites on three floors, each suite encompassing an open plan area and ancillary kitchen and cleaning facilities, with centralised toilet facilities on each level.
It was air conditioned and mechanically ventilated throughout with landlord areas heated electrically. Domestic water services were provided to core areas with water heating via electric local water heaters.
Lighting incorporated automatic controls with daylight compensation dimming and occupancy detection to minimise energy usage. The building incorporated a full range of electrical services installations including power distribution, fire alarms, data containment, floor service boxes, intruder alarms and access control systems.
