STEM Laboratory, University of Nottingham


SDA were appointed to provide specialist services design for a STEM undergraduate teaching laboratory at the University.

A £4 million HEFCE-STEM funded award is supporting new teaching laboratories at the University of Nottingham. The development within the School of Chemistry will see the creation of a new teaching laboratory that will be fully equipped with cutting-edge, facilities used for research and teaching.

The new teaching laboratory will have a footprint of 760 square metres, and will offer students an outstanding experience, using new ways of teaching in state-of-the-art amenities with the best use of technologies and ways of working. The laboratory will offer a capacity of 150 students with 50 fume cupboards.
